The Working Group of the Organization of Turkic States on Health Cooperation held its 2nd regular meeting on 7 October 2024 in Baku.
During the session moderated by Dr Omer Kocaman, Deputy Secretary General of the OTS, the members of the Working Group evaluated the activities of its sub-working groups on Turkic Pharmacopeia, Cancer, Common Health Tourism Network, Telemedicine, Digitization and AI in Healthcare as well as Turkic Laboratory Medicine Foundation as well as the OTS Supply Chain Group and Health Research & Development Group held since the 1st meeting of the Working Group.
The experts gathering also provided the opportunity to discuss the draft Action Plan of the Working Group for 2025 as well as the draft Protocol of Intent of the Health Ministries of the Member States on creating the TURKTRANSPLANT Unified Information System as well as the Joint Declaration to be adopted during the 4th meeting of Health Ministers of the OTS on 8 October 2024 in Shusha.
