Within the framework of the 3rd Meeting of the Ministers of Education of the Turkic Council, Ambassador Ramil Hasanov, Secretary General of the Turkic Council, and the Ministers of Education have visited the Alley of Honor where delegations laid flowers at the tomb of Heydar Aliyev, national leader, founder and architect of the modern Azerbaijani state.
Flowers were also put at the grave of the prominent Azerbaijani ophthalmologist and academician, Zarifa Aliyeva. The delegation then visited the Alley of Martyrs and the Baku Turkish Martyrs` Memorial to lay flowers at the graves of Azerbaijani and Turkish heroes who gave their lives for the country.
