Upon the initiative of the Consul General of Hungary in Istanbul Dr. Atilla Pinter, enjoying Hungary’s capacity as the President of the Council of the European Union, the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev got together with the Consul Generals of the EU countries based in Istanbul at the Consulate General of Hungary on 12 September 2024.

Secretary General made a detailed presentation on the background, structure, strategic priorities, current agenda, and prospective activities of the Organization.

Subsequently, Parties held discussions on the priority areas of cooperation between the OTS and EU during the Q&A session.
