During the interview, Secretary General Hasanov conveyed detailed information about the activities of the Turkic Council, with a specific reference to the ongoing transport projects along the Trans-Caspian corridor, Turkic Council Joint Tourism Tour Package, as well as the cooperation with the UN bodies such as UNDP, UNOSSC, UNAOC.
Secretary General Hasanov expressed his appreciation for the process of transition of Kazakhstan to Latin alphabet, underlining the importance and contribution of this development to the integration of Turkic world. Taking this opportunity, Secretary General Hasanov also presented his gratitude to President Elbasi Nursultan Nazarbayev, who is the Godfather and the permanent supporter of the Turkic Council.
Secretary General Hasanov also provided comprehensive information about the meetings he held during his recent official visits to New York and Washington as well as the Global South-South Cooperation EXPO to be hosted by the Republic of Turkey between 27-30 November 2017 in Antalya and the parallel events to be organized within this context.
