Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov, who is in Astana on the occasion of Expo 2017, visited President of the International Turkic Academy and the Chairman of the Board of the Egemen Kazakhstan Newspaper, Prof. Dr. Darkhan Kydyrali at the premises of the Turkic Academy.
During the meeting, Secretary General Hasanov and the President of the Academy Kydyrali exchanged views on the agenda of the Turkic world and on the cooperation activities between the two institutions. Secretary General Hasanov invited President of the Academy Kydyrali to the informal meeting of the Turkic Council, Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) planned to take place in September. Parties also shared their views on the issues to be addressed during the CFM informal meeting.
Secretary General Hasanov also invited the President of the Academy Mr. Kydyrali, to the Turkic Council Junior Diplomats Training Programme due to be held in Bishkek in July, as a guest of honor.
The President of the Academy, Mr. Kydyrali, thanked Secretary General Hasanov for his visit and gave information to him about the archive of Ahmet Zeki Velidi Togan which is exhibited in the Academy`s library, the recently launched `Atalar Mirası` project and the report about the latest situation of the common alphabet. President Kydyrali also presented to Secretary General Hasanov the books on literature and memoirs which were recently published by the Academy.
Secretary General Hasanov presented the activity report and various documents, which were printed by Turkic Council, to the President of the Academy to take place at the Academy Library.
At the end of the meeting, Academy President Kydryali, showed around to Secretary General Hasanov and accompanying delegation the renovated Turkic Academy Museum and presented information about the new exhibitions.
Turkic Council Project Directors Ali Çiviler and Assan Mazhitov, Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul, Deputy Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs Araz Salmanov accompanied to Secretary General Hasanov and Dr. Askhat Kessikbayev, Director of the International Relations and Protocol Center of the Turkic Academy accompanied President Kydyrali during the meeting.
