Hosted by Rector of Karabuk University (KBU) Prof. Dr. Refik Polat, a program was held at on December 21, 2021, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Turkic States. Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Sultan Raev, Undersecretary of the Embassy of Uzbekistan to Ankara Bahadır Nazarov, academic and administrative staff and students attended the program.
Addressing the participants at the opening of the program, Deputy Secretary General Sultan Raev presented detailed information about the achievements of the Turkic States in their 30-year of independence, their maturing relations within the framework of the Organization, and the ongoing activities and projects carried out by the Organization. Stating that the Organization of Turkic States constitutes an example of the phrase "strength emerges from unity," S.Raev emphasized that Turkic States entered a new era of deeper cooperation with the 8th Summit of the Organization held last month, and the intensive work will continue in the coming period inline with the Turkic World Vision 2040.
The program continued with performance of Otağ Turkic World Music and Dance Ensemble.
