On 24 January 2025, H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the OTS met with H.E. Shahin Mustafayev, President of the Turkic Academy, at the OTS Secretariat. 

During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting the rich cultural and historical heritage of Turkic nations. They also explored strategies to enhance academic and scientific cooperation, including joint research projects, publications, and educational programs aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of the Turkic World.

The President of the Turkic Academy highlighted the Academy’s ongoing initiatives and presented publications entitled “Food Security and Sustainable Development in Turkic States” and “Water Future Vision and Cooperation for Sustainability in Turkic States”, developed by the Turkic Academy.

The Secretary General of the OTS expressed support for these initiatives, underscoring the role of Academy in conducting vital researches on Turkic World.

The meeting concluded with a mutual pledge to continue working together to strengthen the bonds of friendship and solidarity among Turkic nations, contributing to the region’s cultural, educational, and scientific development.
