The Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov met with the Permanent Representative of the Islamic Cooperation Organization to the United Nations Ambassador Ufuk Gökçen on 25 September 2015 in New York.
The Secretary General Hasanov, who has been in New York on the occasion of the United Nations 70th General Assembly came together with the Permanent Representative of the Islamic Cooperation Organization to the United Nations Ambassador Ufuk Gökçen and exchanged views on the current relations between the Turkic Council and the Islamic Cooperation Organization.
Giving information about the activities of the Turkic Council the Secretary General Hasanov underlined the need to further the ongoing relations between the organizations.
Ambassador Gökçen expressed satisfaction with the bilateral talks and conveyed his views on the joint cooperation projects that can be carried out between the two organizations in the future.
The Project Directors Ali Çiviler and Yedil Myrzakhanov, as well as the Head of Protocol Emre Yurdakul accompanied the Secretary General Hasanov at the said meeting.
