Turkic States Artificial Intelligence (AI) Forum is being organized on 9-10 October 2024 in Bishkek with the participation of more than 200 officials, leading experts and policymakers from the OTS Member States and all over the World. 

The Forum was inaugurated with the opening addresses of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, H.E. Edil Baisalov and the Secretary General of the OTS H.E. Kubanychbek Omuraliev, hosted by Minister of the Digital Development of the Kyrgyz Republic, H.E. Nuria Kutnaeva and keynote speech was delivered by the Chairman of the Board of Directors and CTO of Baykar Technology, Mr. Selçuk Bayraktar.

Secretary General highlighted the significance of international cooperation and the role of the OTS and referred to the collaborative projects in various digital areas, including e-commerce, technoparks, digital infrastructure development and cybersecurity within the OTS. Ambassador Omuraliev further raised the ideas to create a Turkic AI network, invest in AI education and skills development as well as creating platforms for joint research and innovation projects within the framework of the OTS.

Several panel discussions being held at the Forum such as “the Role of Artificial Intelligence in Digital Transformation”, “AI Regulation and Public Service Delivery", “Transforming Development with AI”, “Innovate and Invest in AI” and “Infrastructure and AI”.
