On September 2, 2023, the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, met with H.E. Muratbek Azymbakiev, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, at the OTS Secretariat premises in Istanbul.
The Secretary General emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation in the fields of economy and transportation and implementing specific projects in these areas that would serve the interests of all OTS Member States.
Furthermore, the parties discussed upcoming OTS events scheduled to take place in the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as the organization's international activities in the region.
Both sides stressed the significance of active participation by the respective state bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic in OTS activities to promote relevant issues and reaffirmed their mutual intention to further develop cooperation within the Turkic States.
