Secretary General of the Turkic Council, Baghdad Amreyev had a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan H.E. Jeyhun Bayramov in the framework of Antalya Diplomacy Forum on 18 June 2021.
Foreign Minister expressed appreciation for Secretary General’s stance for supporting the Shusha Declaration on Allied Relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkey and emphasized on the importance of this memorandum of alliance for the Turkic world and for deepening cooperation among Turkic countries.
Secretary General Amreyev briefed Foreign Minister Bayramov on core issues that are on the current agenda of the Turkic Council related to the future of the Organization, as well as on the preparations for the upcoming Summit of the Turkic Council.
Parties also discussed the agenda of the meeting of Ministers in charge of Economy of Turkic Council Member Sates planned to be held in Baku in July as well as the ongoing efforts for the establishment of the Turkic Investment Fund.
