Within the framework of his visit to Budapest, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev visited the premises of the OTS Representation Office in Budapest, Ybl Villa and had a meeting with staff members of the Representation Office.
Secretary General deliberated with the Staff the past and ongoing activities of the OTS Representation Office in Budapest and shared his views on enhancing multifaceted relations of the OTS countries with Hungary and European institutions.
Discussing the Annual Activity Plan of the Representation Office for 2023, Secretary General shared his vision and provided instructions on increasing the efficiency of Representation Office’s activities and aligning its work with that of the OTS Secretariat.
Participants also touched upon several key topics, including developing institutional ties between the OTS and the Visegrad Group, implementing the OTS Strategy 2022-2026, and operationalizing the Drought Prevention Institute.
The meeting was futured by signing of the Ybl Villa Memory Book by the Secretary General.
