Turkic States Fintech Cooperation Platform launched in Istanbul
The Turkic States Fintech Cooperation Platform was officially launched today at a signing ceremony held in Istanbul, Türkiye. The event, organized under the auspices of the Presidential Finance Office of the Republic of Türkiye and led by the Turkish Payment and Electronic Money Institutions Association (TÖDEB), brought together fintech association representatives from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Göksel Aşan, Head of the Presidential Finance Office of Türkiye, Ufuk Bilgetekin, Chairman of TÖDEB, Ruslan Talibov, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Fintech Association (AzFina), Nargis Dustmatova, Chairwoman of the Uzbekistan Fintech Association, Yuliya Salekhova, Secretary General of ASPO Kazakhstan, and Aybek Kurenkeev, President of the Kyrgyzstan E-Commerce Association.

In his address, Prof. Dr. Göksel Aşan emphasized the necessity of forming partnerships and alliances in every possible area among Turkic States, highlighting the importance of unity in the current global landscape. He stated, "The 'Turkic States Fintech Cooperation Platform' is one of the opportunities for us to stand together and support each other as a family. This platform will grow and develop significantly."

Ufuk Bilgetekin, Chairman of TÖDEB, noted that the platform not only strengthens financial technology ties but also reflects the spirit of unity and cooperation among Turkic nations. He highlighted the potential for increased trade volume between Turkey and its partners, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, through enhanced fintech collaborations.

The platform aims to solidify relationships in one of the most critical economic sectors of the future—financial technologies. It is expected to open new avenues for cooperation across a vast region from Europe to China, contributing to the growth of trade and global economic integration.

Following the signing ceremony for the creation of the Turkic States Fintech Cooperation Platform, a panel discussion titled "Strengthening the Fintech and Payments Ecosystem and Cooperation Opportunities among Turkic States" was held, exploring further collaboration opportunities.
